ABOUT
Michael T. Semeniuk, B.A. (Hons), J.D.
Michael was raised in Mindemoya, Ontario. He attended Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice.
After working at the E.B. Eddy/Domtar Pulp and Paper Mill in Espanola, Ontario, for a number of years, Michael pursued his legal education in Michigan, U.S.A. He obtained his Juris Doctor (Law Degree) in 2003.
​In his final year of Law School, Michael completed a co-op term with the law firm of Marcuccio, Buttazzoni in Sudbury. He began his law career with Miller, Maki LLP in Sudbury, first as an articling student, and then as an Associate, after being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2006.

Recognizing the opportunity for an enjoyable work-life balance on Manitoulin Island, Michael opened his law office in Mindemoya in the fall of 2014. It has been so nice to return home.
Michael is proud to call Manitoulin Island his home, a place where he can pursue his many interests. He is the proud father of three children, each of whom is a true 'Haweater'.
